The What you sell screen is where you decide what customers can buy and when it runs. It has four tabs: your classes and camps, the plans and packs that sell them, the products in your shop, and the venues, seasons and closures that say when anything happens. This article is a map of the screen. Each part has its own article, linked as we go.
The screen uses the words your business uses. This article says "class" and "camp" for what customers book, and "customers" for the people who pay. A kids' club sees Sessions and camps, Session and Camp, and Parents. Most other businesses see Services and Programme. A music teacher sees Lessons, a beauty business Treatments, and a tutor Services and courses and Course. The layout, the tabs and the buttons are the same whatever the words.
Where to Find This
Open What you sell in your console. On a laptop it is in the rail, between Customers (Parents at a kids' club) and Website. On a phone, open More, then press What you sell.
The screen is headed What you sell, with the line "What customers can buy, and when it runs. Tap a row to change it." At the right of the heading, the circular arrow (Refresh what you sell) reads the screen again, and a short message at the bottom of the screen, What you sell updated, confirms it. The filled button next to it is Add, which opens a menu for adding a class, a camp, a plan or pack, or a product. The screen also reads itself again after every change you make.
What You See
Under the heading are four tabs, each with a number beside it that says how many rows it holds. You see one tab at a time:
- Services, or the word your business uses for what it sells, such as Sessions and camps
- Plans and packs, with Open the Stripe Dashboard above its rows
- Products
- Venues, with up to three short rows: Venues, Closures and Seasons
Shared allowances stand under the plans, on the Plans and packs tab, only if your Bizzly plan includes them. A tab your role may not see is left out, and a role that can see only one thing sees it with no tabs at all. A tab whose list could not be read, or a Products tab when the shop is not in your plan, has no number.
When the last change you made on this screen can be put back, Undo last change stands above the tabs, naming the change, whichever tab you are on.
Press a row to open it. On a laptop it opens in a pane beside the list, and the list stays on screen. On a wide laptop window (about 1,360 pixels across or more), the first row of the tab is already open in the pane when the screen opens and each time you choose a tab. Close the pane and it stays closed until you choose another tab or open the screen again. In a narrower window the pane opens over the right-hand edge, and on a phone it fills the screen. In both of those, nothing opens by itself. See How Changes Work for where panes and sheets open, what their buttons do and how Undo works.
Every list of classes, camps, plans and products shows twenty rows at a time. Under a longer list, Previous, a line such as 21 to 40 of 45 and Next turn the pages. Type in the search field at the top of the screen and the list on show narrows to the rows that match. See Searching Your Console. A list with nothing in it says so, for example "No services yet. Add one with Add above." (a kids' club sees "No sessions and camps yet. Add one with Add above.")
Rows for classes, camps and products show their picture at the left when they have one. If some rows in a list have a picture and others do not, the others show a small mark in its place so the names still line up.
Classes and Camps
A class and a camp are added and changed in the same way, and they share the first tab, Services (or your business's own word, such as Sessions and camps), in the order Bizzly holds them.
Each row shows:
- its name
- who it is for, for example "Ages 3 to 6 years", worked out from the sessions it has coming up in the next two weeks. With no ages to show, the line says what the class is instead, for example "1 hour, a group, at a fixed venue"
- where and when it runs, such as "Hove Park Pavilion: Saturdays 10:00". When the class is at more than one venue, or its venue runs other classes too, just the names: "At Hove Park Pavilion and The Hall". With more than three venues the line names the first two and counts the rest. A class no venue runs says "No venue yet", and one with no session in the next two weeks says "Nothing in the next two weeks"
- "No price yet" if no plan includes it
- at the right, what it costs, in words. One plan gives its price, for example "£30.00 a month". Several give "from" the cheapest. On a phone the price follows the venue and times on the second line
- a label, only when something is out of the ordinary: Draft when it has no price and no plan was ever made for it, and Lapsed when every plan it had has been taken off sale. A class that is on sale wears no label
- an arrow at the right, which shows that the row opens
Press a row to open the class's own pane, or press Add and choose Service or Programme (Session or Camp at a kids' club) to start a new one. See Adding and Changing a Class or Camp, and Adding a Class or Camp, Step by Step for the three steps that take a new one from a name to bookable.
Plans and Packs
Each row is something a customer can buy. It shows its name, what it includes ("Includes Beginner Group and Mini Kickers", "A fee, added at checkout" or "No service includes it yet") and, at the right, what it costs in words ("£30.00 a month") when the screen can say. A plan that cannot be sold yet wears the label Draft.
Press a row to open the plan's own pane, or press Add and choose Plan or pack to make one.
Above the rows, under the search, Open the Stripe Dashboard opens your products in Stripe in a new tab. It is there once Bizzly can tell whether your Stripe account is in test or live mode. Under the rows:
- Shared allowances is a list of its own, with its own heading and number, under the plans on the same tab. It holds Add a shared allowance and each allowance you have, with the classes that share it. It is there only if your Bizzly plan includes shared allowances, and only for administrators.
A price that only Stripe knows about, with no plan behind it in Bizzly, is listed but does not open.
Until Stripe is connected there is no Plan or pack in the Add menu. Where you have no plans yet, a card headed Connect Stripe to take payments says "Adding a plan needs Stripe so you can be paid." and has a Connect Stripe button.
See Your Plans and Packs, Adding a Plan or Pack, Plans & Booking Quotas, Purchase Rules: Who Can Buy a Plan, Pricing a Plan by Venue and Shared Allowances.
Products
The Products tab lists the products in your shop. Each row shows its picture when it has one, its name and, at the right, what it costs. Under the name it shows its stock ("12 in stock", "Sold out" or "Not tracked"), then how many options it comes in or else its category. Once you have connected Veeqo, each row also says Packed by Veeqo or Packed by you. A product that is off sale wears the label Lapsed.
With more than one product, three buttons, Your order, Name and On sale first, put the list in the order you want. The list holds up to a hundred products. If your shop has more, it says "These are the first 100 products. Your store has more."
At the top of the list are two rows about the shop as a whole: Delivery and tax and, if Bizzly offers Veeqo, Veeqo. Press a product to open its own pane, or press Add and choose Product to add one.
If your Bizzly plan does not include the shop, the tab shows a card headed Not in your plan yet, which says "Selling products is part of a higher plan." and has a See plans button. A role that cannot open the plan sheet sees a plain notice instead (see below).
See Setting Up Your Merch Store, Choosing a Picture for a Class or Product and Fulfilling Store Orders with Veeqo. Orders themselves are on Money.
Venues, Seasons and Closures
The last tab, Venues, says when anything happens. It holds up to three short rows:
- Venues says how many venues you have, for example "2 venues", and names them, or says "No venues or times yet". Press it to open the Venues pane.
- Closures says the next closure, such as "Next: Christmas break, 21 Dec to 3 Jan", or "Days when nothing runs, or weekly sessions pause" (in your business's word for a session). Press it to open the list of closures.
- Seasons says the season on now and the one that comes next, such as "Now: Autumn 2026" and "Next: Spring 2027", or "No seasons yet". It appears only when you already have a season or sell a pack or a season plan.
When the last change you made on this screen can be put back, Undo last change stands above the tabs, not in this one.
On a laptop, the Venues pane is already open beside the rows when you choose this tab. It is headed Venues, with the line "Each venue has its own opening times, closures and prices". It holds:
- Add a venue, and then each of your venues, with its address, when it runs and its next closure. Press a venue to open its times. Under each venue are two rows, Name and address and How it books. The How it books row says how that venue takes bookings: Set sessions, Appointments or Set sessions and appointments. Press it to change that.
- Prices by venue for and the plan's name, one row for each pack or season plan, when you have more than one venue.
- Closures and Seasons again, so everything about when you run is in one place.
If Google Calendar is not connected, a card headed Connect Google Calendar stands under Add a venue and says "Changing your times needs a calendar to put sessions in." If the connection has died, the Venues row says Google Calendar needs reconnecting.
You can also open the Venues pane from Settings: press Venues under Your business.
For each part:
- Adding and Changing a Venue
- How a Venue Takes Bookings
- Setting Session Times at a Venue
- Closures
- Setting Up Your Seasons
Opening a Row
The screen has three levels. The first is the list. The second is the pane of one class, plan or product, which opens beside the list. The third is its Booking and price rules. On a wide screen the row you opened is marked, and pressing another row swaps what the pane shows.
A Class or Camp
The pane is titled with its name once, with who it is for under it when the class has ages. When the class has a picture, it runs across the pane. Under that is the sentence customers read about it (or the line that says what it is). Then:
- Edit details opens the sheet that changes its name, length, picture and the rest. See Adding and Changing a Class or Camp.
- See it on your site opens your website in a new tab. It is there once Bizzly has your site's address.
- Summary lists Ages, Length, Venues and Price. A fact Bizzly has no words for is left out.
- Schedule and venues is one row. Under it is how many venues run the class and either their times or their names. A class no venue runs shows No venue yet. Press it to open a pane headed Schedule and venues, with the class's name under the title. Add a time at the top starts a new session for this class, and under Where and when it runs is a row for each venue that runs it. Press one to open that venue's times. A class no venue runs shows No venue yet, with the line "Say when it runs".
- Booking and price rules is one row with up to three lines under it: who the class is for; then the one plan that sells it with its price, or "In 3 plans and packs, from £30.00 a month"; then the booking rules when every plan shares them, or "Booking rules differ by plan" when they do not. Press it to open its rules.
A Plan or Pack
The pane is titled with its name, with what it costs under it, and a sentence saying what it includes. Then a row for each part of the plan:
- What it includes: the classes it gives and how many sessions
- Starting and cancelling: for a pack or a season plan only. "When it starts, its dates and how it can be cancelled"
- Who can buy
- Prices by venue: for a pack or a season plan, when you have more than one venue
- Name and description, with the line "Or take it off sale"
Under them is the Booking and price rules row, which says its price and "when customers can book and cancel".
A Product
The pane is titled with its name, with what it costs under it. When the product has a picture, it runs across the pane, with a line of its stock and options under it. Then:
- Sizes and stock opens the product itself: its name, price, pictures and options.
- Delivery: "Where it delivers, what delivery costs and tax". It is there for a role that may open the shop's delivery settings.
- Orders: "What customers have bought, and what is left to send". It takes you to Orders on Money.
A product has no booking and price rules.
Booking and Price Rules
This is where you change what a class or plan costs, when bookings close, how late customers can cancel, who can book by age and whether new customers get a free taster. Cancel and Save stand at the foot of the sheet once you have changed something. See Booking and Price Rules.
Adding Something New
Press the filled Add button at the right of the heading. Its menu lists what your role may add:
- Service or Programme (Session or Camp at a kids' club) opens a wide pane headed Add a service or Add a programme (Add a session or Add a camp), with three steps: What, When and where and Price and rules. A card at the top shows how it will look on your page as you fill it in. Nothing is made until the last button, Put it on the page. Decide later, on the second step, makes a class with its price and no sessions yet. See Adding a Class or Camp, Step by Step.
- Plan or pack opens Add a plan. See Adding a Plan or Pack. It is left out until Stripe is connected.
- Product opens Add a product. See Setting Up Your Merch Store.
There is one way to add a class or a camp. From Home, New with the same two items, the two buttons under Do something (Add a service and Add a programme), the Add a service or programme button on the Ready to take bookings when card, and a search for it all open the same three steps here.
Inside a sheet, a row with a plus still adds one more: Add a venue, Add a session (in your business's word for a session), Add a closure, Add a season or Add a shared allowance.
Your Home Page Beside the Rows
On a wide laptop window (about 1,360 pixels across or more), the first time you open a class, plan or product from the list, your home page comes up beside the rows, scrolled to the class or plan you are working on. It is for looking at: nothing on it opens when you press it. It is drawn again after each change, so you can see a new price or a new class on the page as soon as it is saved.
With a sheet open there has to be room for the rows, the page and the sheet together. On a 1,440-pixel laptop there is not, so the page waits and comes up when you close the sheet. It stays until you press Hide the page, the cross above it, and it comes back the next time you open a class, plan or product.
On a Phone
- Add shows as its plus mark alone.
- A class or camp row shows its price on its second line, after the times, and not at the right. Plan and product rows leave the price to the sheet you open from them.
- A row's sheet fills the screen, with Back at the top.
- In the three steps that add a class or a camp, the card that shows your page shrinks to one line with a See the card button. The back arrow at the top goes back one step, and from the first step it leaves.
- Your home page does not stand beside the rows.
From the Website Screen
Where your home page shows your prices and your times, the page on the Website screen has a button over each, Change prices and Change times. They open the same sheets. Change prices opens the Price sheet when you sell one plan, asks Which price? when you sell several, and opens Prices and rules (your classes and camps, and your plans and packs, in one sheet) when you sell none yet. Change times opens that venue's times when you have one venue, and the Venues pane otherwise.
Who Sees and Changes What
- Administrators see everything on the screen and change all of it.
- A team member who has the shop permission sees the screen with the Products tab alone, with no other tabs. If the role may change the shop, they can add and change products and the delivery and tax. If it may only look, the rows open to read, with every box held and a note, "You can look at this, but your role cannot change it. Ask an administrator."
- A role that can see classes and plans but not change them sees the rows with the same note above them. The rows say what they say and do not open.
- A role with neither is told "Your role does not include what you sell."
- A role that cannot open the plan sheet, on a plan without the shop, sees a plain notice in place of the Not in your plan yet card: "Selling products is not in your plan. An administrator can change the plan."
To change what a person can do, see Managing Your Team.
If Something Cannot Be Read
If the whole screen cannot be read, a message says What you sell could not be loaded. (or could not be refreshed. if you already had it on screen) with a Retry button. If your site cannot be named, it says What you sell could not be shown. If one part could not be built, only its row says so, with Could not load and a Try again button, or a sentence such as Google Calendar needs reconnecting or Stripe could not be reached.
Where the Other Booking Jobs Are
A few booking jobs are not one of the sheets above. Here is where each one is:
- Booking requirements other than age, such as a level or a yes or no, are set on a session, under Who can attend? in the Session sheet. See Setting Session Times at a Venue and Account Profiles.
- Reading your times back as a calendar is the Week view of the Day screen. See Checking Your Times on the Week Screen.
- Season subscribers the overnight run could not book turn up in Needs you on Home, with a Re-enrol button. See Checking Season Enrolments.
- Describing your whole offer in your own words is Ask or tell Bizzly. See Setting Up Bookings with the AI Assistant.
- A launch pack's booking setup that has not been created yet is a card on Home. See Using Home.
Administrators can change prices, times, closures and more by typing what they want. See Ask or Tell Bizzly.
