This is the complete walkthrough for the Full business path — a site that takes bookings, accepts card payments, and captures leads. If you'd rather get a simpler marketing site live first, see Landing Page Setup instead.
Where to Find This
Services → Onboarding tab (in the left-hand menu)
The Onboarding tab only becomes available once you've created your account and chosen a plan. If it's greyed out, see Create Your Account & Choose a Plan first.
Setup runs as a series of guided steps. Your progress saves automatically after each step — a small Progress saved note appears each time — and a bar at the top shows Step X of Y with the current step's name, so you always know how far along you are.
Step 1: Business Profile
The first screen is headed Getting Started, with the line "Tell us about your company and we'll create your website." You'll fill in two fields:
- Company Name – Your company's legal or trading name (3–50 characters; a counter shows your length).
- Your Website Address – Type the first part of your web address into the box; the fixed .bizzly.net ending is shown beside it. For example, typing
yourcompanygives youyourcompany.bizzly.net.
As you type your address, we check whether it's free and show one of these under the box:
- ✓ Available – you're good to go
- ✗ Already taken – someone has it; pick another
- ✗ Invalid format – see the rules below
If your choice is taken, a Suggested alternatives: row of clickable options appears — tap one to use it.
Your address must be 3–63 characters, use only lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, start and end with a letter or number, and can't contain two hyphens in a row. The Create My Website button stays disabled until your address shows ✓ Available.
When you're ready, click Create My Website (it briefly shows Creating…). This creates your site.
Choose Your Path
Right after your business profile, the wizard asks "What would you like to build?" with the line "Choose the setup that fits your goal. You can always reset and switch later."
You'll see two cards:
- Full business — Bookings, payments & CRM
- Landing page — A marketing site with a contact form
For this walkthrough, click Choose Full business (the button briefly shows Setting up…).
This choice is a fork in the road, not a numbered step — so the progress bar is hidden here on purpose. Once you choose Full business, the numbered steps below appear and the progress bar returns.
Step 2: Connect Payments
This screen is headed Connect Stripe Payments. It connects Stripe so you can take card payments and run subscription plans.
- Click Connect with Stripe.
- Follow Stripe's secure setup — it asks for your business details, a bank account for receiving money, and identity verification.
- When you're done, the screen shows a green Stripe Connected card (with a note about the currency your prices will use). Click Continue to move on.
You'll know a connection worked when you see the green Connected card and a Continue button — there's no separate Save step.
Step 3: Connect Calendar
This screen is headed Connect Google Calendar. Linking your Google account lets customers book online, with appointments kept in sync automatically.
- Click Connect Google Calendar and sign in with your Google account.
- Once linked, a green Google Calendar Connected card appears. Click Continue.
Step 4: Connect CRM
This screen is headed Connect HubSpot. Connecting HubSpot captures leads from your website forms straight into your CRM.
- Click Connect HubSpot CRM and sign in to HubSpot.
- Once linked, a green HubSpot Connected card appears. Click Continue.
Step 5: Choose Design
This screen is headed Choose Your Launch Pack. Each launch pack is a ready-made site for a type of business, complete with pages, services and content.
Selecting a launch pack card starts your setup immediately — there's no separate "apply" button to press. A full-screen overlay then builds your site while you watch its progress.
For a closer look at the packs on offer and what the setup overlay shows, see Choose Your Design (Launch Pack). When setup finishes, the wizard moves you to the next step on its own.
Step 6: Configure Business (optional)
This screen is headed Configure Your Business. Here you can review and customize your services, subscription plans, and availability settings — these were pre-configured from the launch pack you chose.
You have two choices:
- Skip for Now – keep the launch pack's settings and adjust them later from Services → Booking Management.
- Continue – make any changes now, then move on.
It's perfectly fine to click Skip for Now and fine-tune your services and prices after you're live.
Step 7: Add Analytics (optional)
This screen is headed Google Analytics (Optional). Adding your own Google Analytics property lets you track visitors and see how your site performs.
- If you don't use Google Analytics yet, you'll see No Google Analytics property configured. Click Skip for Now in the top corner to move on, or click Configure Google Analytics to add it.
- Once a property is added and switched on, click Continue to Next Step.
Step 8: Launch Site
The final screen is headed You're All Set! It lists everything you've configured — your business profile, payments, calendar, CRM, design, services and analytics — with anything you skipped clearly marked (Skipped).
From here you can:
- Edit Website – open the website editor to customise your pages (on desktop).
- View Live Site – open your published site in a new tab.
- Dashboard – go to your full Services dashboard.
Your website is now published at yourcompany.bizzly.net. Share the link with customers straight away, or keep customising from your dashboard.
After Setup
With the basics done, you might want to:
- Customise your pages, logo and colours in the Website Editor tab
- Fine-tune services, plans and availability in Booking Management
- Adjust search settings in the SEO Settings tab
- Connect your own web address from the Custom Domain tab
