Your catalogue can grow quickly — a monthly membership, a season pack, a taster, a joining fee. The Products & pricing screen puts all of it on one page and answers the question you can't answer from Stripe: what does each price actually unlock?
Where to Find This
Navigate to Services → Bookings → Booking Management → Overview sub-tab, open Quick actions and choose View products & prices (described there as "See everything you sell — every membership, pass and price, which services each one unlocks, and who a standalone fee is charged for").
Back to overview, at the top left, takes you out again.
Everything on this screen is business configuration, so only an administrator can change it. Team members on a limited role can read the list, but the Configure services buttons and the purchase-rule dropdowns aren't available to them.
What the List Shows
The heading reads Products & pricing with a running count underneath — for example "6 active products · 11 prices", or No active products if you haven't set anything up yet. Two buttons sit alongside it:
- Refresh — re-reads both your catalogue and its service access (it reads Refreshing… while it works).
- Open Stripe Dashboard — opens your products in Stripe in a new tab, where names, descriptions and amounts are edited.
Below that, one card per product:
- The product name, with a View in Stripe link to that exact product.
- Its description, if it has one.
- Its purchase rules — Who is this purchase for?, How many times can it be bought? and, once you sell an account fee, Joining fee on first purchase?. These belong to the product, save as soon as you change them, and are covered in Purchase Rules: Who a Purchase Is For.
- Every price on that product.
Reading a price
Each price is a block of its own, showing:
- The amount, followed by per month (or whatever it bills at) for a recurring price, or one-time for a single payment.
- The price's own name in Stripe, as a small tag — but only where it adds something the product name doesn't.
- A Subscription or One-time chip.
- A Configure services button (administrators only).
Underneath sit the services this price unlocks, one chip each, reading the service name and what buying it grants — for example "Mini Kickers · 4 sessions". Hovering a chip spells it out: "Buying this price grants 4 Mini Kickers sessions". A chip with a small layers icon draws on a shared allowance rather than a count of its own — see the Shared Allowances section of Plans & Booking Quotas.
A price that unlocks nothing shows an amber Grants nothing yet flag instead of chips. Customers can still buy it, and it will give them nothing — so it's worth fixing straight away. The Overview flags the same problem as a suggestion: "'Season Pack' doesn't unlock anything yet — customers can buy it, but it grants no bookings."
A joining fee sold on its own is meant to grant nothing — it's a charge, not an entitlement. See Account Fees.
Prices you won't see here
The list is deliberately a clean picture of what you sell, so four things are left out:
- Shop items — physical goods live in your store.
- Behind-the-scenes billing prices created automatically when someone joins a pack partway through and pays a pro-rated amount.
- One-use charge lines — the throwaway entries Bizzly creates to put a single amount through a checkout, such as a delivery charge, or a stand-in it creates when it can't find the usual price. They exist to collect one payment and are never sold again.
- Per-location monthly fees — where a location charges its own monthly amount for a season subscription, that amount doesn't get a card of its own; you set it under By location on the plan itself.
A product left with no prices to show after that isn't listed at all.
Setting What a Price Unlocks
Click Configure services on any price. The screen switches to that one price — its product name at the top, the amount and its type badge underneath — with Back and Save in the corner.
The note at the top sums up what you're doing: "Each row is one of your services. Configure which of them this price unlocks — how many sessions it includes, whether buying gives credits or books the customer straight in, how far ahead they can book, and how much cancellation notice they need."
- 1
Switch on the services this price should unlock
Every service you offer gets a row. Flick a row's switch on to let this price book it; a row that's off reads Not bookable on this price.
A row already carrying paying customers shows a subscriber count beside its name — "12 subscribers" — so you can see what a change affects before you make it.
- 2
Set what the purchase gives them
With a row switched on you get the session allowance, and a dropdown labelled On purchase (single payments) or Entitlement (subscriptions): Give credits, Auto-enrol into a run of sessions, or Enrol in a season (subscription). Season and pack settings open underneath.
- 3
Set the booking rules
Each row has its own collapsible Booking rules — [service name] section: how far ahead customers can book, how close to the start bookings stay open, cancellation notice and waitlist hold.
- 4
Save
Click Save. You'll see Service access saved successfully. Back returns to the list, and asks "You have unsaved changes. Discard them?" if you've edited something without saving.
Every setting behind Configure services is explained in full — allowances, cadence, season packs, per-location pricing, refund and cancellation policy — in Plans & Booking Quotas. It's the same set of settings you reach from a service, so that article applies here word for word.
Services covered by a shared allowance
A service whose allowance comes from a pool can't be edited here. Its row shows the pool's name on a badge with Edit the shared allowance, which takes you to the Shared allowances screen where that allowance actually lives.
When a save takes something away
Switching a service off removes this price's access to it. Bizzly never does that quietly — you're shown exactly what's going and asked to confirm:
The message reads "This save removes plan access:", lists each service losing it, and ends "Existing quota for those services will be disabled. Continue?". Choose Cancel and nothing is changed.
You may also be stopped before saving if a dated pack is half filled in: "'Saturday Camp' has a dated window with only one date filled in — set both dates (or pick a season) in its Schedule section before saving." Fix the dates and save again.
Tips
- Scan for amber first. Grants nothing yet is the one state on this screen that costs you money — a customer can pay and receive nothing.
- Work price-first when you've just added a price in Stripe, and service-first when you're reviewing one class. Both doors change the same settings.
- Check the chips after any pricing change. They're the quickest proof that what you sell and what customers get still line up.
- Names and amounts stay in Stripe. This screen never changes a price — use View in Stripe for that, then Refresh here.
