When you change a plan's price, people who already pay for it keep the price they signed up to. That is on purpose. But sometimes you want everyone on the new price. The Move to the current price sheet shows who is still on an old price and moves them in one go, after asking you first.
Where to Find This
There are two ways in, and only administrators are given either.
- From Needs you. When people are still on a plan whose price you replaced, Needs you says, for example, "3 customers are on Weekly, which you have replaced" (the name is the replaced price's own name), with a See who is on it button. It opens everyone on a replaced price. See Needs You.
- From one person's screen. Open the person on the Customers screen. In their Plans group, a plan on a replaced price says On a price you have replaced and has a Move to the current price button. It opens the sheet for that person's plans only. See A Person's Screen.
Both open the same sheet, headed Move to the current price.
How a Price Gets Replaced
A price is replaced when you change an amount in a plan's Price sheet: Bizzly makes a new price and "people already paying keep the old one". See Your Plans and Packs. Only people on a price that was replaced appear in this sheet.
What the Sheet Shows
While it opens, the sheet says Reading who is still on the old price. Then, under Who is still on the old price?, it says "These plans have a new price. The people on them still pay the old price until they are moved." and lists each plan whose price was replaced:
- the plan's name
- Moves to, followed by the new price's name and how often it bills. If the new price has no name it says "its replacement price"
- how many people are on it, for example 4 people, and the number of plans too when someone holds two, for example 4 people, 5 plans
The plan with the most people comes first. When nobody is left on an old price, the sheet says Nobody is on the old price now. (or They are not on the old price now. when it was opened for one person).
Moving Them
- 1
Press Move them to the current price
It is the one button on the sheet.
- 2
Read the question
It asks, for example, Move 4 people to the current price? and says "This moves 5 plans in Stripe and changes their next charge. It cannot be undone." Choose Move them, or Keep them as they are to change nothing.
- 3
Watch it run
Plans are moved in groups of 25, one group after another. A line shows how far it has got, for example 12 of 40 moved, and each plan carries a label: Waiting, Moving, Moved, Partly moved or Not moved. You cannot close the sheet while the question is open or while people are being moved.
- 4
Read the result
A message at the top of the sheet says how it went. Then the sheet reads again, so it shows who is left.
What has been moved stays moved, and nothing in Bizzly takes it back. The new price applies from the customer's next charge, and no extra charge or credit is made for the part of the period they have already paid.
The Results You Might See
After a run, Home and Needs you count the people who are left rather than the people you have just moved.
