If you run more than one venue, you may want a pack or a season plan sold at only some of them, or at a different price at each. The Prices by venue sheet does both. For a pack it sets a price per session. For a season plan it sets a monthly fee.
Where to Find This
Open What you sell in your console and find Plans and packs. Press the pack or season plan, then Prices by venue. The row is there only when you have more than one venue and the plan books people into sessions (a pack or a season plan). You can also press Prices by venue for and the plan's name in the Venues pane. If you come by the Price sheet (press Name and description on the plan's sheet), the row waits with Save this first while that sheet has a change that is not saved. Only administrators can use it. See Your Plans and Packs.
A price for each venue is part of the Pro plan. Without it, the sheet shows a card headed Not in your plan yet ("A price for each venue is part of a higher plan.") with a See plans button.
The sheet explains when it cannot help:
- "No service books people into sessions on this plan, so it has no prices by venue. Set a service to Booked for you under What it includes first."
- "You have no venues yet. Add one under Venues on What you sell, then come back to price this plan by venue." On What you sell, choose the Venues tab, press Venues, then Add a venue.
Using the Sheet
It is headed with the plan's name, for example What Autumn Pack costs by venue, with the line "Where it is sold, and what it costs there". Under Where is it sold, and for how much? every venue has a block with its name.
- 1
Choose where it is sold
Tick Sold here for each venue that sells the plan. Untick it for a venue that does not: "It is not on sale here. What you set for this venue is kept." If you untick every venue, the sheet warns "It is not on sale at any venue, so nobody can buy it."
- 2
Set a different price, if you want one
- For a pack, tick Charge a different price per session here and set the price. Left unticked, the venue charges the plan's own price: "Customers pay the plan's own price here."
- For a season plan, tick Charge a different monthly fee here and set the fee. Left unticked, it shows what the plan charges, for example "Customers pay the plan's own price here: £30.00 a month."
For a pack, a line under each venue that sells it says what the plan comes to there, for example "12 sessions, £96.00 in all".
- 3
Open More options for dates and for the other venues
More options says what it holds in a line, such as "Own dates at Hove Park Pavilion". Inside:
- When does it run at each venue? For a pack with dates of its own, give a venue a First day and a Last day of its own, both or neither: "The plan runs 7 Sep to 18 Dec 2026. Leave a venue's days empty and it follows those." For a pack or season plan that follows a season, the row Set by the season says "Open Seasons to give a venue different dates." and opens the seasons. See Setting Up Your Seasons.
- What do other venues pay? For a pack, tick Charge a set price per session at every other venue to set one price for the venues you have not given a price of their own. "Otherwise the plan's price is shared across its sessions."
- 4
Press Save
A message at the bottom of the screen says Venue price changed, or Where it is sold changed when that was the only change, with Undo. When no earlier venue prices existed to put back, there is no Undo.
Stopping Sales at a Venue
If your change stops the plan being sold at a venue, a question comes first: Stop selling Autumn Pack at Hove Park Pavilion? It says "Nobody can buy it there while it is off. What you set for the venue is kept, and you can sell it there again whenever you like." Press Stop selling, or Keep selling.
If Part of the Change Cannot Be Made
A change here is made in two parts when it changes both the prices and where the plan is sold. If the second part fails, a message that stays until you dismiss it says "Saved, but where Autumn Pack is sold could not be changed", with the reason, and the first part stays made. Open the sheet and try the rest again.
What Customers See
A pack with different prices at different venues shows a rate per session on your website instead of one total, because the total depends on the venue. When venues charge different amounts, the card's headline reads "From £8.00" with a line under it, "per session · price varies by location". When every venue charges the same, the headline is "£8.00" with "per session" under it. A season plan whose venues charge different monthly fees reads "From £30.00 / month". In your Plans and packs list the same plan reads "from £8.00 per session". See Booking a Session Pack.
