The Register is your at-the-venue attendance tool. It shows one day at a time — every session, who's expected on each, and a simple Present / Late / Absent button for each person. It's built to use one-handed on your phone while you welcome people in.
Where to Find This
Services → Bookings → Register tab.
The Register tab stays greyed out in the Bookings menu until two things are true: you've completed the onboarding wizard through template selection, and your Google Calendar is connected. Once both are done, the tab becomes clickable.
If your Google connection later stops working, the Register opens but shows a message asking you to reconnect Google in Integrations, then retry — see Connecting Google Calendar.
Choosing the Day
The Register opens on today (in your venue's time zone). To look at another day:
- Use the ◀ and ▶ arrows either side of the date to step back or forward a day.
- Or tap the date picker and choose any date.
The day you're viewing is shown in full above the list. Tap Refresh at any time to pull in the latest bookings.
The Day's Sessions
Each session that day appears as a card showing:
- Its time and name
- The services and location it's for
- A capacity badge — for example 8/12 (eight booked out of twelve spots). It turns red when the session is full. Sessions without a set limit show the number booked instead.
Below the sessions, an Appointments section lists any one-to-one bookings for the day.
If a session shows a Not on calendar badge, it was removed from your Google Calendar but still has bookings on record — you can still take its register.
Taking a Register
Tap a session card to open its register sheet.
- 1
Open the session
Tap the session you want. The sheet opens full-screen on a phone, listing everyone booked on.
- 2
Check who's attending
Each person shows their name, their age if you keep age records, how many spots they've booked, and a badge for how it was paid: Plan, Credit, Admin or Comp.
- 3
Mark attendance
For each person, tap Present, Late or Absent. The mark saves straight away. Tapped the wrong one? Tap the same button again to clear it.
Marks save one at a time as you tap, so there's no "save" button to remember — just work down the list.
The Waitlist
If anyone is waiting for a full session, they appear in a Waitlist section at the bottom of the sheet, each marked Offered or Waiting. This is a read-only view so you know who's next in line.
To actually offer a waitlisted person a spot, use the calendar tools in Managing Customer Bookings — the Register is for taking attendance, not for offering spots.
Printing a Register Sheet
Prefer a paper list? Open a session and tap Print. You'll get a clean sheet for that session with columns for Attendee, Age, Contact, Spots, Paid via and Attendance, plus anyone on the waitlist — ready to tick off by hand.
For Coaches and Limited Roles
If you've given someone a role that can view session registers but not edit them (see Managing Your Team), they'll see a View only banner on the register sheet. They can open any session and see who's booked and any marks already made — shown as small badges — but the Present / Late / Absent buttons don't appear for them. Give the role Edit on Session registers if you want them to mark attendance.
