If you want to set your business up again from the beginning, Clear everything does it in one step. It is a last resort: it cannot be undone.
Where to Find This
Press your name at the right of the bar across the top of the screen and choose Your account, or open Settings and press Your account under Bizzly (on a phone, open More, then Settings). Scroll to the foot of the sheet. The last part is headed Want to start again?
Want to start again? is shown to administrators only. A team member does not see it. It works on the one site you are working on, so if you run more than one website, check which site is in view first. See Switching Between Accounts and Sites for how to change it.
What It Does
Clear everything deletes the current setup of the site you are working on. The question it asks lists what goes:
- Your services and prices
- Calendar and booking settings
- Website pages and content
- Form and email settings
You can build everything again afterwards, and your website address stays the same. Setup is put back at the start, so you can go through the guided setup again: Continue setup on Home leads you back to the first setup screen. See Setting Up Your Business and Landing Page Setup.
Disconnecting Your Connections Too
Above the button is a tick, Also disconnect Google, HubSpot and Stripe. It is off until you turn it on. When it is on, the question adds these to the list of what goes:
- Your Google Calendar connection
- Your HubSpot connection
- Your Stripe connection
- Your branded email domain
Leave it off to keep your connections as they are.
Steps
- 1
Decide about the tick
Tick Also disconnect Google, HubSpot and Stripe only if you want those connections removed as well.
- 2
Press Clear everything
Under the button it says "Clears your services, prices, pages and settings so you can set up again. Your website address stays."
- 3
Read the question
It is headed Clear everything and start again? and names your site: "This deletes the current setup of" your site's name. "You can build everything again afterwards, and your website address stays the same. This cannot be undone." Check the list carefully.
- 4
Type the word and confirm
Type DELETE in capitals, then press Yes, clear everything. Press Keep everything to stop.
- 5
Wait for it to finish
The line under the button reads Clearing everything. It can take a while on a busy site. The sheet cannot be closed meanwhile. When it is done, the page loads afresh at Home.
If It Does Not All Go Through
If some of it could not be cleared, the sheet stays open and says Some of it could not be cleared. with a list of each part that failed. If the clearing could not be made at all, a sentence under the button says so. If it reports that it did not finish but names no part, it says "Your site could not be cleared. Please try again." Nothing is retried for you, so check what is left, then press Clear everything again if you still want to.
Clearing everything cannot be taken back. If you only want to change a price, a time or a page, do that on the What you sell or Website screen instead. See Your Console at a Glance.
