Where to find this:
Services → Website → SEO Settings → Business Information sub-tab
Enter your business details to ensure search engines display accurate information about your business.
Why This Matters
When your business information is complete:
- Search engines display accurate details.
- Customers can easily find your contact information.
- Your business appears correctly on maps.
- You look professional and trustworthy.
Steps
1. Open SEO Settings
Navigate to Services → Website → SEO Settings.
2. Open Business Information
Select the Business Information sub-tab.
3. Enter Basic Details
-
Business Name:
Enter your official business name as you want it to appear in search results. -
Business Description:
Provide a brief description of your business, including main services and location.Tip: Write for customers, not search engines. Be clear and helpful.
-
OG / Social Share Image URL:
The picture people see when your site is shared on WhatsApp, Facebook, X and similar. Paste the full web address of an image, starting withhttps://. 1200 × 630 pixels works best. This is different from your logo, and it's optional. -
Browser Tab Icon (Favicon):
The small icon shown in browser tabs and bookmarks for your site. Click Choose image (or Change to replace an existing one, Remove to clear it) to open your Asset Manager — see Managing Your Media Library for uploading, searching stock photos, or using a web address. A small square image (e.g. 512 × 512) works best — PNG, ICO, or SVG. If the image you pick isn't square, you'll see a warning that browsers may crop or squash it in the tab. Until you set one, your site uses the default Bizzly icon.
4. Add Contact Information
-
Phone Number:
Enter your phone number with the country code (e.g., +44 7700 900000). -
Email:
Provide your business contact email.
5. Add Your Address
Start typing in Business Address and pick your address from the suggestions that drop down. This ensures your location is accurately captured for maps. Selecting a suggestion automatically fills in:
- Street address
- City
- Region/County
- Postcode
- Map coordinates
Important: Always select an address from the dropdown. Typing it without selecting won't save the address, and you'll see a warning telling you so.
Once an address is saved it's shown with a Validated tick. Use the Change button beside it if you move.
6. Choose Your Business Type
Pick the closest match from the Business Type (Schema.org) dropdown — for example Beauty Services (Salon, Barbershop, Spa) or Home Services (Cleaning, Maintenance, Handyman). See Choosing Your Business Category for the full list.
This helps search engines understand your business and show it in relevant searches.
7. Fill In the Cards Below
Underneath the main details you'll find three more cards:
- Opening Hours — the days and times you're open.
- Service Areas — the cities or regions you cover. At least one is needed before you can enable indexing, and each one gets its own page on your site.
- Frequently Asked Questions — questions and answers search engines can show alongside your listing. Load Default Business FAQs gives you a starting set to edit.
8. Save Your Changes
Click Save Changes at the bottom of the screen to store your business information.
Best Practices
- Be accurate: Use your real business name and address exactly as they appear elsewhere online.
- Be complete: Fill in every field—profiles with missing information rank lower in search results.
- Be consistent: Use the same name, address, and phone number across all platforms (website, Google, social media).
- Update when things change: If you move or change phone numbers, update your SEO settings immediately.
What Happens Next?
Once your business information is complete, you can enable search engine indexing to let Google find your site.
