What Launch27 Is, and What It Is Now Called
Launch27 is booking and operations software built specifically for residential cleaning and maid services. Founded in 2013, it does one job well: put a cleaning-aware booking form on your website that quotes a real price from the customer's postcode, bedroom count and chosen extras, then runs the scheduling, the crew assignment, the reminders and the card payment behind it.
One thing to know before comparing prices: in May 2026 the company rebranded from Launch27 to Automaid. Same product, same owner — Fullsteam Software Holdings, of Auburn, Alabama — with a stated direction towards greater automation. As of July 2026 both launch27.com and automaidsoftware.com were live and publishing identical tiers, so if you are searching for Launch27 pricing you are reading Automaid pricing.
All figures below are as of July 2026, taken from the vendor's published pricing pages and support documentation, in US dollars. Pricing changes, and it changes more often around a rebrand, so verify on the vendor's own site before committing to anything annual.
How Launch27 Pricing Works
The model is refreshingly simple compared with most of its competitors: three flat tiers, no per-user charge, no per-booking fee. What decides your tier is which features you need, not how big you are.
1. Unlimited users and unlimited bookings on every tier
This is the genuinely good part of the pricing and the reason established cleaning firms stay. Base, Pro and Plus all advertise unlimited users and unlimited bookings. Adding your fifth cleaner, or your fifteenth, does not change the software bill. Most field service platforms bill per seat instead, so their invoice grows every time you hire while Launch27's stays flat. The larger your crew, the better this model looks — check the per-user rate of anything you compare it against, because that is where the gap opens up.
One caveat worth chasing down: at least one third-party cost guide describes a volume-based model that “jumps meaningfully at the ten-user threshold”, which directly contradicts the vendor's published pages. We could not verify that claim anywhere official. If you intend to scale past ten staff, get the answer in writing from sales before signing an annual plan.
2. The tier you actually need is Pro, not Base
Base at $75/month looks like the entry price, but the booking form on Base carries the vendor's own branding. For a cleaning company whose booking form is the most commercially important page on its website, that is usually a non-starter. Base also has no Google Calendar integration, no SMS, no QuickBooks sync and no automated review requests. Removing the branding and unlocking the integrations means Pro at $150/month. Budget on $150, not $75.
3. Annual billing saves about 15%, and locks you in
Paying yearly costs $765, $1,530 or $3,049.80 — roughly 15% below twelve monthly payments on each tier. The saving is real, but reviewers have reported that unused months are not refunded if you leave part-way through a prepaid year. Treat the 14-day trial as your genuine evaluation window rather than assuming you can back out in month four.
Launch27 / Automaid Prices (July 2026)
| Item | Estimated Cost | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Base | $75/month or $765/year | Unlimited users and bookings. Booking form carries vendor branding. Customer database, scheduling, payroll calculator, coupons, email automation, card processing, client portal. |
| Pro | $150/month or $1,530/year | Everything in Base plus the unbranded premium booking form, custom CSS, time tracking, Google Calendar, Zapier, QuickBooks, Twilio SMS, gift cards, automated review requests, map view. |
| Plus | $299/month or $3,049.80/year | Everything in Pro plus the referral engine, native mobile apps for cleaners and admins, English/Spanish app, automatic card pre-authorisation, photo storage, multi-location calendars with location-based pricing. |
| Annual commitment | ~15% off | Each annual figure above is roughly 15% below twelve monthly payments. Reviewers report unused months are not refunded if you leave mid-year, so treat the annual plan as a full-year commitment. |
| Card processing (Automaid Pay) | 2.85% + $0.25 | The in-house processor, run by parent company Fullsteam. US clients only. $25 per chargeback, and a monthly PCI fee if you are not enrolled in compliance. |
| Accelerated payouts | ~$20/month | Optional next-day settlement on Automaid Pay. Not included in any tier. |
| Setup or onboarding fee | None published | No setup fee is listed and there is no long-term contract on the monthly plans. |
| Website | Not included | There is no website builder. Budget separately for Wix, Squarespace or WordPress hosting, plus a domain, plus whoever builds and maintains it. |
Third-party directories quote different numbers — $59 and $125 both appear on aggregator sites — but neither of the vendor's own live pricing pages supports them; both agreed on $75, $150 and $299 when checked in July 2026. The pattern worth noticing is the doubling between tiers: each step up is a budget decision, not an incremental upgrade.

Base is a complete operational system for a small firm that is happy with a branded booking form and does not need calendar sync. Pro is where most businesses land: the unbranded form, custom CSS, Google Calendar, Twilio SMS, QuickBooks, gift cards and automated review requests. Plus, at nearly four times the Base price, is really about two things — native mobile apps for cleaners in the field, and multi-location calendars with location-based pricing. Run one location with cleaners who are happy in a browser, and Plus is hard to justify.
Payments, Add-Ons and the Complaints That Recur
Card processing sits outside the plan. Automaid Pay, run by parent company Fullsteam, charges around 2.85% + $0.25 per transaction with a $25 fee per chargeback, and roughly $20/month for accelerated next-day payouts. A monthly fee applies if you are not enrolled in PCI compliance. Merchants across the wider Fullsteam estate report repeated annual rate increases, so the effective rate tends to drift upward rather than hold — worth asking about before you sign.
Two other costs are easy to miss. SMS reminders unlock on Pro, but the messages are billed by Twilio on your own account. And there is no website builder at all, so hosting, a domain and the site itself stay in your budget for as long as you use the platform.
Where reviewers say Launch27 falls short
The customer-facing booking form is consistently praised — reviewers regularly describe it as one of the most polished in the cleaning category — and ease of setup gets repeated credit. The criticism is just as consistent. Reviewers describe the admin interface as dated relative to newer competitors. Support responsiveness is the most frequent complaint, and several reviews tie a decline in reliability to the change of ownership, citing downtime during working hours, duplicate customer charges and app instability. Customisation is reported as limited once you push past the standard cleaning workflow, and some operators export to third-party tools for detailed payroll. It is also emphatically a house-cleaning product; reviewers outside that niche say so bluntly.
Worked Example: A Four-Person UK Cleaning Firm
Take a domestic and end-of-tenancy cleaning business: an owner plus three cleaners, around £8,000/month in card takings across roughly 130 payments, and a website that needs to convert. Pro is the right tier — Base would put the vendor's branding on the booking form and leave the calendar unsynced.
| Item | Estimated Cost | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Automaid Pro, billed annually | ~$128/month (~£101) | The $1,530 annual plan spread across twelve months. Pro is the realistic tier: Base puts the vendor’s branding on your booking form and has no Google Calendar sync. |
| Website hosting and domain | ~£20/month | A Squarespace or WordPress site to embed the booking widget into. Cheaper if you build it yourself, considerably more if you pay a designer. |
| Twilio account for SMS reminders | ~£12/month | Pro unlocks SMS, but the messages are billed by Twilio on your own account, not by Automaid. |
| Foreign exchange on a USD subscription | ~£3/month | Roughly 2 to 3% on the converted total, depending on your card issuer. Easy to forget when budgeting outside the US. |
| Card processing on £8,000 of takings | ~£260/month | About 130 payments at roughly 2.85% + $0.25. Non-US businesses use Stripe or PayPal instead, at Stripe’s own rates. |
| Total Estimated Startup Cost | ~£396/month |
Software and the things it forces you to buy come to about £136/month before card fees — the $1,530 annual plan, a website to host the booking widget, a Twilio account and the currency spread. Add processing and the platform costs roughly £396/month. Headcount barely matters here: the same firm at ten cleaners pays the same subscription, which is exactly where Launch27 beats per-seat competitors. The website line, on the other hand, never goes away.
When Launch27 Is Worth the Money
Launch27 earns its price in identifiable situations, and they are worth naming.
- Your pricing is postcode-driven. The booking form uses the client's postcode to decide which prices and which availability to show, and rejects addresses outside your service area. Bizzly does not do this at all.
- You discount by frequency and run promotions. Weekly cleans priced below fortnightly, coupon codes for first-time customers, gift cards at Christmas. All native, all in the booking flow. Bizzly has discount codes — Stripe promotion codes, redeemable in the store checkout and the customer billing portal — but no gift cards and no frequency rule inside the booking form, so a recurring client is priced by putting them on a cheaper plan or pack instead.
- Your team is growing past five people. Unlimited users on every tier is the single best thing about this pricing model. A ten-cleaner firm pays the same $150 as a two-cleaner firm.
- You run payroll off job data, or your cleaners need a real app. The payroll calculator is included from Base and native mobile apps arrive on Plus. Bizzly has no payroll at all and is a responsive web app only.
- You already have a website you are happy with. Launch27 is designed as a drop-in widget for an existing WordPress, Squarespace or Wix site. If that describes you, the missing website builder costs you nothing.
If three or more of those describe your business, Launch27 is fairly priced and no cheaper alternative will replace it cleanly.
Where Bizzly Fits
Bizzly is an all-in-one platform for service businesses that sell bookings and recurring packages. It is not a maid-service specialist and does not pretend to be. Four differences explain why the price is a fraction of Pro rather than a shaved-down version of the same product.
| Item | Estimated Cost | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Bizzly Base | £19/month | 50 bookings, 1 calendar, the full drag-and-drop website, Stripe payments, receipts and billing history, review collection. No per-booking platform fee and no per-user charge. |
| Bizzly Standard | £29/month | 200 bookings, 3 calendars, WhatsApp AI assistant (500 messages/month), 50 SMS, waitlists, free trial sessions, Google Business Profile integration. |
| Bizzly Pro | £49/month | Unlimited bookings and calendars, custom domain, branded emails, 200 SMS/month, merch store, per-venue pricing. 14-day free trial, no card required. |
| Website | Included on every plan | A complete editable site, not a widget you paste into someone else’s builder. No separate hosting bill. |
| Card processing | Stripe standard rates | Bizzly adds no platform fee. Money lands in your own Stripe account, in your own operating currency. |
1. A real website, not a widget in someone else's builder
This is the largest structural difference. Launch27 gives you a booking form to paste into a site you buy and maintain elsewhere. Bizzly includes a complete drag-and-drop website editor on every plan, from £19/month: every page of your public site is editable block by block, you add whatever pages you like, and booking is part of the site rather than an iframe inside it. For a cleaning business whose website is its shopfront, that removes a hosting bill, a domain bill and a maintenance dependency.
It is a proper editor rather than a template picker. There are 26 components to drop in — booking calendar, timetable, plans and pricing, store and cart, testimonials, contact forms, and the whole customer portal as a single block — plus per-element styling that goes down to a raw CSS properties inspector, a global theme with your own colours, per-page SEO fields with a search-result preview, version snapshots you can roll back to, a media library with stock photography, and an AI that will draft or rewrite a page for you. The editor itself is desktop-only, and the component palette is fixed — you are not injecting custom code — but within that, the site is genuinely yours to shape.
2. Subscription, pack and season billing, running side by side
Launch27 bills visits and recurring visit schedules, which covers the “every other Tuesday” domestic clean properly. What it does not do is sell packages. Bizzly runs monthly subscription memberships and visit or session packs and term or season blocks at the same time — a twelve-week spring-clean block, an eight-visit deep-clean pack, a rolling monthly domestic plan — with mid-block pro-rating for clients who join late, capacity held during checkout so a block cannot oversell, and packs that can be sold whole or by the day.
Season subscriptions go one step further: at the end of a season, members roll automatically into the next one, billed natively through Stripe, with the cancellation policy you choose — end of the billing period, a notice period in days, or end of season. That is the difference between chasing every client for a re-book each quarter and having the renewal happen on its own. Competitors almost always support one of these billing models. Bizzly runs all of them together.
3. A WhatsApp AI assistant, in the plan
From the Standard plan at £29/month, Bizzly includes a WhatsApp AI assistant that answers client questions, searches live availability including recurring slots, suggests alternatives, books and cancels visits, joins and checks waitlists, answers account, subscription and invoice queries, raises support tickets and answers your own business FAQs from a knowledge base — around the clock, with customers verified by one-time code, and no add-on or per-minute charge. Standard includes 500 messages a month and Pro 2,000. It cancels and rebooks rather than rescheduling in place, which is worth knowing, but for a cleaner who is on a job all day and whose clients message rather than ring, it is the difference between catching an enquiry and losing it. Launch27 has no equivalent at any tier.
4. Billing and booking are one system
Bizzly's booking quotas are payment-gated: a client can only book what their active plan, pack or credits cover, and if their payment lapses their booking access is removed automatically. Each plan carries its own booking rules too — how far ahead clients may book, how close to the visit they may still book, and how much notice they must give to cancel. No reconciling a calendar against a payments report, and no awkward conversation with someone still booking after their card failed.

On cost: Bizzly is £19 to £49/month with no per-booking platform fee, payments landing in your own Stripe account, and billing in your own operating currency rather than USD. Launch27's unlimited-user model still wins above roughly ten staff; below that, the flat price plus the included website is the cheaper total.
What Bizzly does not do
These are real gaps, not caveats, and for a cleaning business several of them bite. There are no postcode or service-area booking restrictions — someone outside your patch can book and you handle it manually. Discount codes exist, via Stripe promotion codes redeemed in the store checkout or the customer billing portal, but there are no gift cards and no frequency-discount rule inside the booking form. There is no staff payroll or commission splitting. There is no native mobile app — it is a responsive web app, fine for an owner, weaker for cleaners in the field than Launch27's Plus-tier apps. There is no mileage tracking, no in-person card terminal hardware, and no room-count price calculator of the kind that makes Launch27's booking form so effective for domestic cleaning quotes.
If postcode-gated pricing, gift cards and payroll are how your business runs, that list should send you to Launch27 and the price difference is beside the point. If your website is your shopfront, you sell packages and blocks rather than one-off visits, and you want billing and booking to be the same system, the list is mostly irrelevant to you.
Verdict
Launch27 — now Automaid — is priced honestly and its pricing model is better than most of the category: three flat tiers, unlimited users, unlimited bookings, no per-booking fee. The two things to correct for are that the real entry point is Pro at $150/month rather than the $75 headline, because Base brands your booking form and skips calendar sync, and that the platform assumes you are buying and maintaining a website somewhere else. Add processing at roughly 2.85% + $0.25 and a four-person UK firm is looking at around £396/month all in.
It is the right purchase when your quotes are postcode-driven, you run frequency discounts and gift cards, you calculate cleaner payroll from job data, your team is growing past five people, and you already have a website that converts. It is the wrong one when the website is the problem you are solving, when you sell monthly packages or seasonal blocks rather than quoted visits, and when you want a WhatsApp assistant answering enquiries while you are on a job. In that case a flat-priced all-in-one platform at £19 to £49/month, billed in your own currency with the website already in the price, is the better economics — as long as you can live without postcode gating and a room-count quote calculator.
